Mr. Matthew Daniel “Danny” Henson, 63, of Shelby passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County he is the son of the late Everette Henson and Janie Spurling Henson Duncan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Mary Alice Henson.
Danny loved his family and friends. He also loved to work on small engine equipment and cars. He had worked as an automotive mechanic most of his life.
He is survived by his wife Betty Jones Henson; three brothers, William “Bill” Henson of Shelby, David Henson and wife Brenda of Shelby, and Roger Henson and wife Norma of Lattimore; one sister, Sandra Mary “Sandy” Charles of Shelby; special cousin, his angel, Dana Silva; and many other special friends.
