Mrs. Melba Humprhies Neal, 88, of Shelby, NC passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011. Services were held at Bethel Baptist Church. Burial was held in Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Humprhies and Edith Mildred Allen Humphries; one brother, Buford Humphries and one grandson.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Neal Addis and husband, Thomas; one son, David Neal and one granddaughter, all of Shelby, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
