Michael Henson, age 59, of Forest City, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his residence.
Born July 21, 1955 in Providence, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Ralph R. Henson and Agnes Marie Ramsay Henson. He was a carpenter most of his life and worked for Henson Lumber and The Woodshop for several years. Michael was a member of Harris First Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and bee keeping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Ann Henson Miller.
Survivors include one sister, Gayle Patricia De Moss and husband, Larry; one brother, Ralph R. Henson-Lukas all of Licking, Missouri. He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.
A graveside service will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Henson Family Cemetery with Reverend George Whitmire officiating. The body will lie in state on Friday from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
