Michael Jason Willis, 49, of Lawndale, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at his home.

He was born in Cleveland County on February 5, 1974. Jason was a handyman and member of St. Paul Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by a brother, David Jones and his grandparents Burl Willis and Bill and Betty Ashley.

He is survived by his parents, Michael "Mike" Burl Willis of Belwood and Nancy Ashley Jones and husband Danny of Fallston; grandmother, Ruth Willis of Belwood; four brothers, Tony Willis of Belwood, Lewis Jones of Huntsville, AL, and Shane Jones of Shelby; a sister, Wendy Lattimore and husband Jimmy of Lawndale; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A celebration of life Service will be held on Friday, October 20th, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel 846 East Stagecoach Trail Fallston, NC 28042 with the Rev. Keith Fulbright, , officiating.
