SHELBY- Michael "Keith" Whisnant Edmondson, 53 passed away on July 14, 2016. He was born in Shelby, NC to Billy Ray and Madgie Whisnant on October 2, 1962. Keith is predeceased by his father, Billy Ray Whisnant; grandparents, Bussey Ray and Catherine Whisnant, Clement and Minnie Lee Weaver; step-father Dennis Edmondson.
He is survived by his mother, Madgie W. Edmondson; one daughter, Jennifer Rhinehardt of Shelby: one son, Joshua Rhinehardt of Shelby; two grandchildren, Katelyn Rush (9) and Junior Shrewsbury (3) both of Shelby; one sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Dr. Jerry Injejikian of Florida; two step-sisters, Lori Dawadi (Bharat) and LeeAnn Edmondson both of Shelby; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Keith was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, trying his hand at mechanics and adored his grandchildren. He will truly be missed.
A 3:00 pm service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Love Valley Baptist Church, 2032 Bethlehem Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086 with Pastor Barry Philbeck officiating. A one hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
