Mr. Mickey Willis, 75, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center - Main in Charlotte.

Mickey was born on September 10, 1942 a son of Frances Clark Willis of Lawndale and the late Esper Willis. He was owner and operator of Willis Trucking and was a member of North Brook Baptist Church. Mickey loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and also enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Judy Arthur Willis of the home; a daughter, Kimberly Carroll and husband Eric of Cherryville; three grandchildren, Anna Knight of Lincolnton; Grayson Carroll and Morgan Carroll of Cherryville; three sisters, Ginger Huss of Crouse; Brenda Wentz of Cherryville; and Teresa Willis of Lawndale and a brother, Sherrill Willis of Lawndale

The family will receive friends any time at the home.

At the request of the family, a private family graveside service will be held for Mr Willis.

Burial will be in the Wehunt Family Cemetery.
