Mildred Ann Bridges Poston age 79, died Sunday January 25, 2015 at Hospice Wendover. Born in Cleveland County on January 23, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Robert "Buddy" and Laladge Frances Greene Bridges. She was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church. She retired after 34 years of dedicated service as the Administrative Assistant for the office of the Provost at Gardner Webb University. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Jonas R. Bridges.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Thomas Clinton Poston; two daughters, Lou Ann Scates and husband Doug of Boiling Springs, and Lydia Poston Sherman and husband Bill of Boiling Springs; a brother, Edwin G. Bridges and wife Chris of Boiling Springs; and two grandsons, Andy Scates and Clinton Sewell; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 pm on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Tracy Jessup officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm in the Life Enrichment Center of Boiling Springs Baptist Church. The burial will be on Thursday at 3:00 pm at Cleveland Memorial Park, just prior to the service.
