Mildred Irene Hastings Ward, 76, of 2911 Autumn Harvest Lane, Charlotte,
passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at The Oaks at Town Center in
Harrisburg.
Born February 25, 1938 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Luther Richard Hastings and Lelia Crotts Hastings. She was retired from
Social Security Administration and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in
Whiteville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis
Lee Ward and three sisters, Lucy Jolly, Elizabeth Melton and Ruby Hastings.
Survivors include a son, Terry Ward and wife, Barb of Shelby; daughter,
Marla Seifert and husband, Jay of Huntersville; three grandchildren, Chris
Ward, Nicholas Seifert and Zachary Seifert.
Visitation: 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday, Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center, Inc., Fallston.
Funeral Service: 4:00 PM, Wednesday, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center, Fallston.
