Mildred Kranich, age 92, of Forest City, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born January 9, 1924 in Pasadena, California, she was a daughter to the late Joseph Nallen and Mildred Kelly Nallen. She was a graduate of Poly Tech High School, class of 1942 and worked in the aerospace program at Boeing International Corporation for thirty years before retirement. Mildred was a Roman Catholic.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Kranich, Jr. and two sisters, Joan Spofford, Collene Jennings and brother, Billy Nallen.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Ann Rice and husband, Michael of Garden Grove, CA; two sons, Michael Kranich of Forest City and Patrick Hill Cranish and wife, Janet of Villa Park, CA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
At Mildred's request there will be no local services. A memorial service will be held in California at a later date.
