Mildred Lois Wylie McKnight, 86, of 2064 Bethlehem Road, passed away Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, at Caromont in Gastonia, NC.

She was the widow of Daniel Allen McKnight and the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Wylie and Jenette Mae Wilson Wylie. Mrs. McKnight worked in textiles and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, NC.

Mrs. McKnight is survived by one brother, George Wylie; three sisters, Maebelle Martin, Bessie Ledbetter, and Tommie Ledbetter; a special nephew, Charles and Laura Martin and special niece, Jeannette Hilliker, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, L. J. Black, her brothers, Walter Wylie, Jack Wylie, and Bill Wylie, and her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and James Moore.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC with Rev. Eddie Bolin officiating.

The family will be at their respective residences.
