Milton Alexander Andrews

Milton Alexander Andrews (A.k.a "M.A., "Andy", "Mr. Mannella") died surrounded by his family on December 23, 2015. He was 82 years old.

Milton has been described as a brilliant creative force and "fireball" by those who knew him well. In his eight decades on this earth, he blazed a bright trail, leaving his legacy on everything from the US Navy to the Young Democrats of D.C. to the Andrews-Brink Advertising Agency, and eventually to two of the best Italian restaurants the Triangle area has known - Mannella's and This Side Up. In the last 17 years, Milton's creative passions were fully realized in his work as a photojournalist for the The Shelby Shopper & Info and Rutherford Weekly, where he was able to tell the stories of the Cleveland and Rutherford County communities.

Milton's joie de vivre survives through his proudest achievements, his children and grandchildren.
