Mrs. Patricia Dellinger Beam, 80, of 602 Queens Road passed
away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at her residence.

Patricia was born in Gaston County, NC on January 14, 1935 a daughter of the
late Lloyd Dellinger and Edna Hallman Dellinger. She was a 1953 graduate of
Cherryville High School and also a graduate of Presbyterian Hospital School
of Nursing. She was retired as a Registered Nurse with Ashley Womens Center
and Gaston Gynecology and Obstetrics in Gastonia. Patricia was also a very
loyal and faithful member of First Baptist Church in Cherryville where she
was a former Sunbeam Leader, taught GA's was a Vacation Bible School leader,
Nursery Coordinator and served on the food service committee. She was a
member of Cherryville Chapter # 156 Order of the Eastern Star and
Cherryville American Legion Post 100 Ladies Auxiliary. Patricia was a
loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her and
had a great love for serving and entertaining others throughout her life.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Tom C. Beam of the home; two
daughters and sons-in-law, Tonda Beam Christian and Bill of Concord and
Samantha Beam Moss and Tim of Cherryville; five grandchildren, Taylor and
Tripp Christian, Madison, Landis and Chapel Moss and one sister Glenna
Dellinger Turner of Wytheville, VA.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Cherryville on Thursday,
May 28, 2015 from 3:00 until 4:15PM and at other times the family will be at
the home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:30PM at First Baptist Church
with Dr. Vince Hefner officiating.

Burial will be in Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery with graveside rites by
Cherryville Chapter #156 Order of the Eastern Star.
