Muriel Hull Brendel of 6468 W. Hwy 27, Vale, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at
Brian Center in Lincolnton.
Born May 17, 1922 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Major
Lee Hull and Eliza Elizabeth Seagle Hull. She was retired from Sweetree in
Cherryville and was a member of Hulls Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Kieffer Brendel, son, Eddy Brendel, three brothers, Vance Hull, DC Hull, and
Ralph Hull; and six sisters, Leola Williams, Laura Jarrell, Bryte Ledford,
Lula Ballard, Prue VanDyke, and Ethel Rhodes.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Fonda and Roger Kiser of
Vale, three grandchildren, Chelsea Kelly, Stacey Brendel, and Cory Brendel;
and two great grandchildren, Holden Kelly and Parker Kelly.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3:30PM until 4:30PM at Hulls Grove Baptist
Church.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 5:00PM at Hulls Grove Baptist Church
with Rev. Marcus Redding officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
