Mrs. Myrtle Louise Ledbetter, 91, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011. Services were held at Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel. Internment was held in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC.

Mrs. Ledbetter was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Nelson Everette Ledbetter; her parents, James Arthur Smith and Lillie Love Smith;  son, Gary Wayne Ledbetter;  sisters, Faye Smith, Estelle Blanton, Inez Smith, Shirley Smith, Jackie Smith and brother, Herman Smith.

She is survived by her son, Charles “Chuck” Ledbetter and wife Kathy, Shelby, NC; sisters: Kay Furr, Kings Mtn. NC; Doris Murray, Shelby, NC; Rosa Lee Spangler, Myrtle Beach, SC and Lois Citron, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
