Blacksburg -- Naize Buford Blanton, 51, of 195 Old Chester Road, passed away Tuesday, June 20th, 2017, at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Leslie Martin and the son of Betty Childers Blanton and the late Sullivan "BoBo" Blanton. Mr. Blanton retired as a Millwright and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Blanton is survived by one son, Calvin Wayne Westmoreland and McKayla Treanor of the home; two daughters, Kesley Rachelle Blanton and Jersey Dawn Peterson, both of the home; one brother, Tony Blanton and wife, Kathy, of Blacksburg; one sister, Danna Ann Blanton of Blacksburg; one grandchild, Colten Westmoreland and a granddaughter on the way.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Floyd Allen Blanton.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Cryptside services will be held Friday, June 23rd, 2017 at 11:00 am at Clingman Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 1219 East Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC 29702 with Rev. Lucky Earls officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
