Mrs. Nancy Lee Wright King, 80, of Shelby, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was held in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.
Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her parents, Moses Winslow Wright and Georgia Lee Hayes Wright; two brothers, Odus A. Wright and James C. Wright and six sisters, Eva Laura Wright, Alma W. Freeman, Velma Frances Wright, Clara Mae Wright, Bessie Bridges and Jean Blanton.
She is survived by four daughters, Karen Edwards and husband, Charles of Rock Hill, SC; Elizabeth Teahan and husband, David of Bradenton, FL; Linda Kiser and husband, Edward of Shelby; and Susan King and Jay Hotchkiss of Concord; three brothers, M. Winslow Wright, Jr. and Hugh Wright both of Shelby and Aaron A. “Bud” Wright of Fallston; a sister, LaVerne Wright of Fallston; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150.
Stamey Funeral Home of Shelby is serving the family.
