Naomi Parker Humphries

Naomi Parker Humphries, 88, of 331 Young Grove Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late H. Blaine Humphries and daughter of the late Cooper Parker and Jeanette Easler Parker. She previously worked in textiles, a homemaker, and a member of Blacksburg Church of God. She loved her Lord and family, gardening and quilting.

Surviving is a daughter, Karen Humphries Spigner of Blacksburg; a sister, Margie White of Shelby, NC; three grandchildren, Meghan Dalton (Michael), Farrell McTeer (Jeff) and Olivia Garrett (Marc); six great-grandchildren, Claire, Lydia, Jack, Nora, Dylan and Addison; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, J. C. Parker and Clyde "Butch" Parker, and two sisters, Jessie Dover and Juanita Parker.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Wells officiating. Interment will be in the Patterson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Karen Spigner, 305 Young Grove Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
