Naomi S. Wright

Mrs. Naomi S. Wright, 75, of 3440 Shelby Rd., died Sat. Jan.14th, 2012 at Carolina’s Medical Center.  A native of Cleveland Co. she was the daughter of the late William Calvin and Alice Pirkle Stinchcomb.  She was the owner and operator of The Patty Cake Shop.  She had a love of cooking and baking, and she so appreciated all of her customers over the years.  She also taught candy making at Cleveland Community College and was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Wright; sister, Inez Blanton; brother, Clarence Stinchcomb

SURVIVED: She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James L. Wright of the home; two sons, Michael E. Wright and wife Cynthia of Lawndale and Kenneth Wright of Shelby; two daughters, Linda W. Greene and husband Larry of Kings Mountain and Janice Greene and husband  Ronnie of Polkville; three sisters, Willie Mae Hicks of Shelby, Evelyn Hannon of Kings Mountain, Shirley Boggus of Shelby; three brothers, Curtis Stinchcomb of GA., Freddie Stinchcomb and Jimmy C. Stinchcomb and wife Pat, all of Fallston; six grandchildren, Mark Greene of Shelby, Misty Greene of Kings Mountain, Kristi Spicer and husband Matt of Greenesboro, Kyle Wright and Scott Wright and husband Ashley, all of Boiling Springs, Ashley Benge and husband Derek of Shelby; five great grandchildren; sister in law, Shirley S. Stinchcomb of Shelby.

SERVICES: Wednesday, 2pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home

VISITATION: Wednesday, 12:30 to 2pm, at the funeral home

CLERGY: Dr. Bulo Price

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Cleveland Memorial Park

MEMORIALS: The family would appreciate any memorials to be made payable to the funeral home to assist in expenses.
