Mrs. Naomi Williams Meacham Jones, 86, of Shelby, NC, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010. Services were held at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home Chapel, Shelby, NC. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her 1st husband, G.W. “Joe” Meacham; her 2nd husband, Flay Jones; her parents, Charlie Lee and Era Laler Barnett Williams; 1 daughter, Amy Louise Jones; 2 brothers, Eugene Williams and Leon Williams; 2 sisters, Rose Grant and Linda Morrison; and 1 step-son, Bobby Jones.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Brenda Sweezy and husband Don, Joyce Holcomb and husband Jeff, all of Shelby, Shirley Farrow and husband Richard of Salisbury, NC, and Angela Hollifield of Shelby; 2 sisters, Catherine Spurling and Ellie Goins; 1 sister-in-law, Betty Williams; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 6 step-grandchildren.
