More Info: We will have our December Christmas party and anyone who would like to attend please bring a covered dish with you and enjoy our fellowship together. Coffee, and water will be provided. What: South Mountain State Park Environmental Programs
When: Saturday, December 16 - "Nature's Ornaments". Want to make a clothespin reindeer or a tree cookie ornament for your Christmas tree? Join a Ranger at the Visitor Center at 11:00 am to make these fun crafts. Saturday, December 22 - "General Park Program". Join a park Ranger in the Visitor Center at 11:00 am to learn about South Mountains State Park. Participants will learn about user group activities, trails and points of interest. Sunday, December 16 & 30 - "Fly Fishing 101". Get Hooked! Join angler Jeff Newton at the Visitor Center at 2:00 pm for an introductory class on fly fishing. Please bring all personal equipment available. Classes may vary based on interest and skill level of the participants. North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission fishing regulations still apply.
