Relay for Life Kickoff Celebration
The Relay for life Kickoff Celebration will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 6:00pm, Cleveland County Fairgrounds, Goforth Hall, 1751 Marion Street, Shelby, NC. Everyone is invited! Registered Team Captains will get their tee shirt at this event. Don't miss the Crock Pot SOUPER bowl Party! Bring your favorite Soup or Chili to share. All attendees can vote for their favorite and have an opportunity to win great prizes! Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 6:00pm - "Give My Heart to Relay" Event. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 6:00pm - Spring Forward Relay Event.
City of Shelby Upcoming Holiday Closings
All city offices will be closed Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26, 2017, observing Christmas Holiday. Garbage and Recycling schedule for Christmas week is: Monday and Tuesday route collection will occur on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Wednesday and Thursday route collection will occur on Thursday, December 28, 2017.
All city offices will be closed Monday, January 1, 2018, observing New Year's Holiday. Garbage and Recycling for Monday's route will occur a day late on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, the remainder of the week will occur on regular schedule.
