More Info: Free lunch for children 18 and under. There's no need to worry about lunch when you are getting the kids from activity to activity this summer - just swing by the library for a free, nutritious lunch. Monday - Thursday a hot lunch is served, and on Fridays a bagged lunch is available. There is no need to sign up, but food is served on a first-come-first-served basis. What: Shelby American Legion Post 82 Golf Tournament
When: Tee time is 8:30 am--shotgun start, August 3
Where: Deerbrook Golf Course
More Info: The cost is $70 per golfer or $140 per team--1 mulligan. A sandwich buffet is included. The event will also feature a 2-man Texas Scramble, low gross and low net, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners; a chance to shoot golf balls out of an AR-15--$10 entry fee. Proceeds will go to American Legion Post 82. Funds from the golf outing will help support Post 82 Capital Campaign and many veterans and youth programs.
