The Cherryville Little Theatre
The Cherryville Little Theatre is extremely pleased to announce "Junie B. Jones is NOT a Crook" on stage this spring. This is a fantastic story about Junie's adventures in losing her favorite mittens only to find a wonderful multicolored pen. This amazing cast brings these story book characters to life in just over an hour-long production. And as always, Junie teaches us an important life lesson that is great for kids, teens and especially adults. The cast is made up of seven amazing local actors. From Kings Mountain we have Sophia Kelstrom playing the exciting role of Junie B Jones, Ethan Clinard boasting the role of Handsome Warren, Sydney Bridges rocking the role of Jim and Morgan Shipton as the stressed out classroom teacher. From Shelby, we have Ely Thompson as the precious Lucille. Anna Grace Jones, from Lattimore, will be playing the part of the spirited Grace. Cherryville's very own John Randall plays a perfect five-year-old in the role of Ricardo. Page Thompson is the director gifted with the job of wrangling these characters and Connie Fox is the producer who keeps everyone sane. Join them for one of the evening performances at 7:00pm, Friday, May 19, 2017 or Saturday, May 20, 2017. There will be a matinée shows starting at 3:00pm on both Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21.
