Hartley's parents were told when she was just a baby that she would never walk, yet she has completed a 5K! Let's let Hartley make her dream of becoming a Clemson Tiger come true. She has been accepted into the ClemsonLIFE Program at Clemson University. LIFE stands for Learning Is For Everyone and is designed for students with intellectual disabilities who desire a postsecondary experience on a college campus. The mission of the program is to provide a coordinated course of study that includes career exploration and preparation along with self-awareness, discovery, and personal improvement through a framework of courses, job internships and community participation. This program is almost $40,000 per year and Hartley's family has exhausted their savings on medical bills over the years.
