Hospice Cleveland County - Hospice Volunteer Training Class Hospice training is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about hospice care and the services provided to the community. This 12 hour course is free. To get credit for the entire course, you will need to attend all days at the times offered or call to schedule a time to complete the training. The Teen Talking Circle, Shelby - Imagine you had a safe place to talk about what's really going on inside you- a space where you are listened to and accepted as you are. Teen Talking Circle is a process and support group for girls 12 and up. Some of the topics include developing self-confidence, understanding relationship boundaries, dealing with conflict and self-care for teenagers. Benefits of the group are: improved social skills, learn new ways to cope, find out you aren't alone, gain a broader perspective of your issues, understand what makes your problems worse. The Teen Talking Circle will meet on Saturdays: October 29, November 5, November 19 and December 10, 2016, at the YMCA in Shelby, NC from 9:30am-11:00am.
