Ms. Nicole Lavette Littlejohn, 39, of 6211 Riley St. Shelby, NC departed this life on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.  She was born on June 3, 1974 in Cleveland County, NC.

Nicole was a 1992 graduate of Crest High School and furthered her education at Carolinas Beauty College in Gastonia receiving degree in Cosmetology.  Her recent employment included Ebony and Ivory hair salon in Shelby.  In her spare time, Nicole enjoyed drawing, cooking, making crafts, writing and reading poetry, watching scary movies and playing with her dogs.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Keona Chanel Littlejohn; her mother, Alberta Littlejohn both of Shelby; her maternal grandmother, Bessie Littlejohn of Shelby; aunts and uncles, Lillie Mae Crosby, James “Bo Bo” Littlejohn (Esther) both of Shelby, Bobby Littlejohn (Cynthia) of Kings Mountain, NC, Johnny Ray Littlejohn of Shelby and Sarah Kay Littlejohn of Shelby; special friends, Robert Wilson of Waco, NC, Mary Dewberry of Gaffney, SC, Rhonda Brooks and Renee Degree both of Shelby and Connie Hunt of SC and a host of other relatives and friends..

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 5:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Earl.  Condolences can be expressed online at www.enloes.net.  Enloe Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
