Nora Faye Leonhardt Gilbert, 66, of 4657 W. Highway 27, Vale, passed away
Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in
Gastonia.
She was born in Cleveland County on October 25, 1947, to the late Swain
McCarther Leonhardt, Sr. and Valda Hull Leonhardt. She was a retired
teacher assistant for Lincoln County Schools and member of Hebron United
Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Trent
Gilbert and two brothers, Swain Leonhardt, Jr. and Earl Leonhardt.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Richard "Dick" Edward Gilbert,
daughter Candice Gilbert of Vale; and granddaughter, Chelsea Doolittle of
Vale.
