Norma Devine McSwain, 91, of Fallston-Waco Road, Shelby, passed away
Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

She was born in Cleveland County on February 19, 1924, to the late George
Andrew Devine and Bessie Elver Smith Devine. Norma was retired from the
textile industry and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Dwight
Thurman McSwain, and daughter Kathy Johnson.

She is survived by her son Keith McSwain of Shelby; two daughters, Becky
Dellinger and Sylvia Dixon and husband, Roger both of Shelby; two brothers
Ralph Devine of Shelby and Alton Devine of Lawndale; four grandchildren,
Brian Hamrick, Angie Royster, Jan Cooper and Leigh Ann Edmondson and nine
great grandchildren, D.J. Hamrick, Jacob Hamrick, Caleb Royster, Madison
Royster, Mallory Royster, Grayson Cooper, Ryan Cooper, Benjamin Edmondson
and Abigail Edmondson.

Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center. At other times the family will be at the home of Sylvia
and Roger Dixon, 1117 New Prospect Church Road, Shelby, NC.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church

Officiating: Rev. Jimmy Black

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston,
NC.
