SHELBY - Norma Jean Jolley Chalk, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Carillion Assisted Living of Shelby. She is predeceased by her parents, Avery Burton and Orelia Bailey Jolley; and her husband Harry Chalk.
Norma leaves behind to cherish her memories her brother, Mike Jolley and wife Diane of Shelby; one niece, Crystal Jolley Blackburn (Jason); one nephew, Todd Jolley; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church of Mooresboro. For most of her life she worked in Textiles. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and decorating her home for Holidays. She was a wonderful sister, sister-in-law and aunt that will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Prospect Baptist Church, 2610 Prospect Church Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114 2:00 PM with Rev. Ernie Cole officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial to follow service at church. The family will also be at the home of Mike and Diane Jolley, 641 McBrayer Homestead Road, Shelby, NC 28152.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights, NC 28150 and/or Prospect Baptist Church, Mooresboro, NC, 28114.
