Norma Mae Dellinger Bridges, age 90, of Barbara Dr. died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 27, 1926 in Lincoln County to the late John. W and Minnie Mode Dellinger. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene Cherryville and a retired employee of Fasco. Norma enjoyed watching gospel song shows, doing yardwork and vintage television shows.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dathie David Bridges, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra B. Houser (Troy) of Cherryville; grandchildren, David Houser (Amy) of Fairfax Station, VA., and Todd Houser of Gastonia; great grandchildren, Austin Houser and Chris Hill; brothers, Matthew Dellinger of Cherryville and Clement Dellinger (Linda) of Granite Falls; and sisters, Emily Stevens (Dean) of Snellville, GA and Peggy Benanti of Phoenix, AZ.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Tom Hartis officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday, 12:30 - 1:45PM at the funeral home.
