Oddys Rebecca Carter Anthony, age 63 of Milo Neal Rd. died Friday, May 29, 2015 at Robin Johnson Hospice House. She was born on June 4, 1951 in Chipley, Florida to the late Campbell and Grace Hanks Carter. She was a member of the Assembly of God in Cherryville and a faithful Christian. Oddys was a housewife extraordinaire and took pride in caring for her family. She enjoyed home interior decorating as well as gardening and working with flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Martha Sue Carter.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Wayne Anthony; sons, Troy Wayne Anthony, Nathan Lester Anthony, and Thomas Campbell "T.C." Anthony all of Cherryville; grandchildren, Paigeland Grace Anthony and Nathan Cameron Anthony; sisters, Wanda Fry (Bob) of Seminole, Fl, and Jerrettha French (Jimmy) of Ponce de Leon, FL; and sister-in-law, Sherry Morales of Cherryville and St. Petersburg, FL.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Dr. Vince Hefner officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
