Olin "Mann" Patterson, 77, of 238 Bear Creek Road, passed away Friday, September 13th, 2013, at his residence.
Born in Blacksburg, Mr. Patterson was the widower of Faye Dover Patterson son of the late Newton Woodrow and Ethel Avalon Hall Patterson. He retired as an electrician and was a lover of the outdoors, especially his dogs, coon hunting,building fish traps and gardening.
Surviving Mr. Patterson are five sons, Timothy Patterson and wife, Karen, of the home, Yancey Patterson and wife, Suzanne, of Blacksburg, Tony Patterson and wife, Lisa, of Blacksburg, Wayne Owens of Gaffney, and Randy Moss and wife, Sharon, of Blacksburg; two daughters, Teena McDaniel of Gaffney and Tracey Kiser Peace and husband, Danny, of Chesnee; a brother, Alfred Wayne Patterson, of California; a sister, Joyce Patterson Hunt, of Charlotte; fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by a son, Michael Moss.
The family will receive friends September 18th, 2013 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Gordon Mortuary.
The family will be at the residence.
