Gaffney -- Onie "Omie" Mae McFarland Davis, 95, formerly of 277 Tribal Road in Blacksburg, passed away Sunday, February 15th, 2015, at Brookview Nursing Home.

Born in Casar, she was the widow of Earnest Davis and the daughter of the late Charlie Harrison McFarland and Frances White McFarland. Mrs. Davis worked as a farmer and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Surviving Mrs. Davis is one son, Earnest Davis and wife, Gayle, of Duncan; one daughter, Margaret Ann Boone of San Ramon, CA; one sister, Rosa Robbins, of Blacksburg; four grandchildren, Dana Trudeau and husband, Luke, of Easley, Mary Stangeland and husband, Peter, of San Ramon, CA, Annielee Boone of San Ramon, CA, Teresa Savage and husband, Michael, of San Jose, CA; and five great-grandchildren, Lily and Lauren Stangeland, Jackson, Harrison and Penelope Savage.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20th, 2015, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Eric Sellers officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Terry Stacy, Virgil Hampton, Charles Wray, Ken Foster, David Tessner, and Donald Tessner will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at her former residence.
