Pamela Denise Summer Johnston, 57, of 158 Oak Tree Lane died Friday August 2, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Gaston Co. on April 9, 1956 a daughter of the late Elliott Murrell and Joyce Elaine Hudson Summer. Pam was formerly employed by Carolina Freight Carriers, Gaston County District Attorney and the FBI and was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Robert Stevens Johnston, Jr., a son Tyler Creason of Cherryville, three step children Robert Stevens Johnson, III of Gastonia, Brian Johnston of Mt. Holly and Katie Love of Mt. Holly and two brothers Steve Summer(Joy) of Cherryville, and Michael Summer of Cherryville.
Services will be private. The family will receive friends at the home of Steve and Joy Summer, 150 Oak Tree Lane, Cherryville.
