Pamela  Nelle Norwood, 62, 346 Kadesh Church Rd, Unit 2, Lawndale, NC, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

She was born on May 2, 1951, in Gaston County to the late Henry Black and Lucille Oates Black.  She was retired. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dean Norwood and son, Jason Lee Norwood.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Hayes of Cherryville; sister, Cheryl McGaha, of Bessemer City; and companion, Jerry Davis of Lawndale and 4 grandchildren

The family will receive friends form 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2013, at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.  Condolences may be made online atwww.stameyfuneralhome.com.

The memorial service will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m.  at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston.
