Patricia Beam Beam, age 85 of N. Mountain St. died Friday, February 26, 2016 at Carolinas Continue Care Hospital in Kings Mountain. She was born on April 30, 1930 in Gaston County to the late Alfonso and Elsie Edna Eaker Beam. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a former children's Sunday school teacher. Patricia had retired from REA after 30 years as a receptionist. She was a fantastic cook and she loved to helped people.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Beam; brother, Max E. Beam; and sisters-in-law, Jane B. Helms and Frankie Beam.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Norris Beam of Cherryville; sister-in-law, Patricia Beam Carson and Joyce Beam; brother-in-law, Ronald Beam; nephews, Reggie Beam and wife, Phebe, Stan Beam and wife, Melissa, Ed Beam and wife, Melinda, and Kelly Beam; and "cousin/sister," Lynn Paris.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Vince Hefner officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 to 11:45 AM prior to the service at the church.
