Patricia Wayburn Darty Hord, 76, of 448 Sunbeam Farm Rd., formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, died March 18, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Gaston Co. on August 24, 1936. Mrs. Hord was devoted wife,
mother, grandmother and a homemaker.
She is survived by husband of 63 years Charles Dennis Hord, Sr., a daughter Patsy Whitchey(Michael) of Cleveland, Charles Dennis Hord( Michelle) of Atlanta, James Richard Hord (Diane) of Cleveland, and Jerry Hord(Therese), of Cleveland, six grandchildren Brittany, Alex, Elizabeth, Kyle, and Kristen Hord and Joey Whitchey, a brother Lester Darty,Jr(Pat) of Waco, and sisters Elby Bennett of Medina, Ohio, Betty Lynn of Cleveland and Brenda Watterson(Tommy) of Gastonia.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date for the convenience of the family at Carpenter’s Funeral and Cremation Services.
