FOREST CITY - Patsy Lee Jones Clark, 71, of Frazier Drive, Forest City, died on Thursday, April 09, 2015 at her residence. A native of Rutherford County, she was born on October 03, 1943, a daughter of the late Charles Jones and Merle Toney Jones. She formerly worked for Cone Mills Corporation, Isothermal Community College and Roses Department Store. Mrs. Clark was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Forest City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Clark; one son, Darrin Clark; three brothers, Joe Jones, Nollie Jones and Jack Jones; one sister, Mildred Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Danna Clark of Forest City; special niece, Cynthia Clark Robbins of Forest City; two sisters, Dorothy Houser Parker of Mooresboro and Mary White of Bostic; two brothers, Harce Jones of Bostic and Floyd Jones and wife Joyce of Bostic; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Forest City with the Rev. Trent Keeton officiating. Burial will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service.
