Patty Ann Swafford Crotts, age 48, of Spindale, N.C. passed away February 27, 2014. Born August 6, 1965 in Cleveland County, N.C. She was a daughter of the late Rev. Junior Swafford and Nancy Mathis Swafford. She worked as a CNA most of her life. She was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed fishing and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Donna Swafford Willis.
Survivors include one son, James Adam Crotts of Spindale, N.C.; one daughter Kimberly Michelle Crotts of Shelby, N.C. ; two brothers, Lee Roy Swafford of Vale, N.C. and Marion "Bobby" Lee Swafford of Ellenboro, N.C.; one grandchild, Autumn Rayne Crotts ; also surviving her longtime companion Emmanuel Gene McSwain and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Pores Ford Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, N.C. with Rev. Neil Murray, Rev. Pete Bridges and Rev. Lloyd Swafford officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Rutherford County, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, N.C. 28043.
