Patty Lane Hollins, 43, of 110 Chestnut Street, Grover, NC, passed away September 15, 2014, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC. Born in Kings Mountain, NC, she is the daughter of Betty Martin of Grover, NC, and the late William and Lenora Westmoreland. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church, Smyrna, SC.
In addition to her mother, Betty, she is survived by one son - Brandon Laughridge of Grover, NC; two daughters - Brittany Medrano of Smyrna, SC, and Elizabeth Hollins of Grover, NC; four grandchildren; two sisters - Joann Tessner of Blacksburg, SC, and Mary Ann Peeler of Gaffney, SC; and four brothers - Manuel Westmoreland, William "Peroone" Westmoreland, Robert Hollins and Henry Hollins all of Kings Creek, SC. In addition to her parents, William and Lenora Westmoreland, she is preceded in death by her step-dad, Bobby Martin, and one grandchild - Riley Medrano.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 18, 2014, from 6-7:00 PM, at Smyrna Baptist Church, Smyrna, SC. A Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 PM, with Rev. Michael Leary officiating. At other times, the family will be at the Medrano home, 5220 Old Wallace Road, Smyrna, SC.
