Paul Knox Neely, age 96, a resident of Grover, NC, died at his home on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. He was born in York Co, SC to the late Moffat James Neely and Edna White Neely. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Margaret Beam Neely, one brother and seven sisters. Mr. Neely was retired from Minnette Mills, Grover, NC after 35 years of service. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Grover, NC where he served as Deacon, Sunday School teacher and former

director of the church choir. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the South Pacific Theatre. He enjoyed baking cakes and carpentry. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and PawPaw and a friend to everyone.

Daughter: Vickie Neely Hoke and husband Craig, Columbus, MS

Grandchildren: Tommy Dover, Eddie Hoke and wife Dani, Abby

Robertson and husband Bryan, Sean Hoke,

Megan Burke and husband Josh.

Great Grandchildren: 4

FUNERAL SERVICE: Bethany Baptist Church, Saturday, October 10, 2015

2:00 P.M. Rev. Doug Ramsey, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 10, 2015 prior to the service at the church.

INTERMENT: Grover Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina with full military honors provided by the Marine Corp League, Foothills Detachment.
