| Pauline “Polly” Ware Phifer, age 89, a resident of 209 Rollingbrook Road, Kings Mountain, NC, died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospital. Born in Cleveland Co, NC, daughter of the late Frank C. and Pearl Lovelace Ware, wife of 65 years, to the late Menzell N. Phifer and was also preceded in death by son-in-law, Gene Kaylor, sister-in-law, Peggy Ware, brothers Mike Ware and Walter Ware and sister Virginia Stone, brother-in-law, W.F. Stone. She was retired after 45 years from First Union National Bank, a member of Boyce Memorial ARP Church where she was active in church and Women’s Ministries. She was a member of the Open Gate Garden Club and enjoyed making porcelain dolls for friends and family. She loved to cook and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

11 Great Grandchildren: Emily, Johnathon, Abigail, Hattie, Joe, Wade, Casey, Caroline, Sloan, Makayla, and Alex.
