Pauline Rebecca Hoyle Bivens, 80, of 2149 Willis Rd. in Vale, passed away Saturday January 31, 2015 at Carolinas HealthCare System-Lincoln.

Born July 28, 1934 in Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late Johnie A. Hoyle and Rosie M. Crotts Hoyle. She was retired from Rhyne Hosiery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Junior Bivens.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Steve & Sadie Bivens of Valdese, Jerry Bivens of Lincolnton, and Kenneth & Linda Bivens of Cleveland County, one sister, Ann Bivens of Catawba, eleven grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation: Tuesday 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Stamey Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be Wednesday 2:00PM at Stamey Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel with Rev. David Poteat officiating.

Burial will be private.
