Pedro Antonio Guzman, age 56, of Montevallo, Alabama, died Saturday, March 5, 2016 due to an automobile accident.
Born on June 13, 1959 in El Salvador, he was a son to the late Clemente Hernandez and Angela Guzman. Pedro owned and operated a landscaping business. He loved gardening and the outdoors. Pedro was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Guzman of Hueytown, Alabama; one brother, Victor Guzman and wife, Maria of Mooresboro; three sisters, Zoila Guzman of Dover Plains, NY, Dolores Mejia and husband, Sergio of Marco Island, FL and Maria Angelina Faz of Forest City. He is also survived by seventeen nieces and nephews, Yanet Cisneros, Olga Carroll, Alex Faz, Angel Faz, Jackelyn Romero, Rene Guzman, Angela Mejia, Jose Reyes, Mario Guzman, Omar Guzman, David Guzman, Efrain Guzman, Saul Guzman, Aracely Sorto, Lilian Ledezma, Elmer Escobar and Johnnie Escobar.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the graveside.
