Mrs. Peggy Chaney, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011. Services were held at Eastside Baptist Church. Internment was held in Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain, NC.

Mrs. Chaney was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Robert L. and Winnie Moss Chaney;  three brothers, Grady Chaney, Robert Chaney and Johnny Chaney and four sisters, Dot “Sis” Chaney Phillips, Loretta Lee Chaney, Lucille Gladden and Edith Milwood.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Lovelace and fiancé Victoria Moss, St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Jack Chaney of Kings Mountain, NC; sisters, Martha Sue Rhea and Sherry Short both of Kings Mountain.
