Peggy was born in Spartanburg County, SC on November 3, 1945 a daughter of the late John D. Robinson and Mary Coffey Robinson.  She worked as a secretary and formerly attended Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Beth Johnson Mahaffey and Chris of Granite Falls; a granddaughter, Lyndsay Mahaffey; two brothers, Mike Robinson and wife Wanda of Shelby; Tony Robinson and wife Brenda; two sisters, Kay Moss and Dianne Brown and husband Charles all of Cherryville.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 6:00 until 7:30PM at Stamey~Cherryville Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the home of Dianne and Charles Brown, 137 Mozelle Rd. Cherryville.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, August 23 2012 at Mt Zion Baptist Church, with Rev. Wayne Key officiating.  The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
