Peggy Wright, 79, of Kings Mountain, NC passed away on October 6, 2019 at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby, NC. Born in Cleveland Co, NC, She was daughter of the late Edgar and Lillian Hardin Tucker. She was also preceded in death by her son, James Eric Wright, brothers, Jerry Tucker and Eddie Tucker. Peggy graduated from Central High School in 1958. Peggy was a LPN and in her early working years she did private duty nursing. Several years after her son was born, she worked at Oxford Industry in clerical. After Oxford was sold she worked at Clevmont Mills, doing a lot of employees sales. In her later years, she was a caregiver for her mother for 16 years. She was a member of True Gospel Holiness Church, Kings Mtn. NC where she was known as the intercessory prayer warrior, she was over the prayer room and she did the object lessons until her health hindered her attendance. She loved her Lord and Savior and it was evident in how she loved and cared for everyone. A warrior goes home.
