Mr. Perry Marshall Cole, 73, of Ellenboro, NC, passed away June 26, 2016 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 5, 1942 in Rutherford County, the husband of Lori Ann Hollifield Cole and the son of the late James Dillard Cole and the late Mary Carver Cole. He as of the Baptist faith, enjoyed carpentry, working in the yard and was devoted to his family.

Survivors include his wife; six sons, David Cole (Kathy) of Ellenboro, Billy Cole (Katie) of Bostic, Dewayne Cole of Morganton, Keith Cole (Marie) of Ellenboro, Chad Cole of Ellenboro and Josh Cole of Ellenboro; a brother, David Cole of Forest City; fourteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Tim Cole; a grandson, Billy Cole and a great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2016 at Heaven Bound Baptist church with Rev. Matthew Stamey officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends after the service at the church and at other times at the home of his son, David Cole, 187 Evans Edwards Rd., Ellenboro, NC
