Rachel Wellmon Elliott, 85, of Shelby, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at
White Oak Manor in Shelby.

She was born on December 19, 1929, in Cleveland County to the late Vick
Wellmon and Eva Grayson Wellmon. She was retired from Cleveland Mills as a
cloth inspector and was a member of Polkville Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert
Hoyle Elliott and brother Talmadge Wellmon.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Elliott Bridges and husband Kevin of
Shelby; granddaughter, Madison Bridges; grandson, Isaac Bridges both of
Shelby; niece, Vicky Wellmon Hoyle; nephew, Scott Wellmon; and great nephew,
Josh Wellmon.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church on
Tuesday.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 3:00 PM at Polkville Baptist Church
with Mr. Luke Beam and Mr. Will Davis officiating.

The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
