| Rafael O. Garcia, age 53, of Gaffney, SC, died Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice House.
Rafael was born April 30, 1960 in Caguas, Puerto Rico to the late Tomas Oyola and Maria Garcia. He was worked in the salvage industry. Rafael was a hard worker and when time allowed it, he also enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Andres Garcia and Pedro Garcia.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-one years, Xilma Ramos; son, Rafael Ramos, Jr. of the home; two brothers, Carlos Garcia and Luis Garcia; two sisters, Carmen Garcia and Sonia Garcia.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2013 at the Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney, SC.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
